Every family has its own unique tale, full of love, traditions, and shared moments. This family’s journey starts in 1999 in Bemidji, MN where Shari and Cory met and fell in love.  When they married, in 2001, Shari had just begun a nursing program. Cory worked for Lundmark Construction.
Shari graduated as a nurse in 2003 and began working at theMeritcare Walk in Clinic. In 2004 an opportunity opened in General Surgery and she jumped on it! She went back to school while working there, becoming an RN.
Cory continued working for Lundmark’s, excelling at his work and learning all the tricks of the trade. His experience and skills grew.

In 2008 they welcomed two beautiful boys, Daniel and Wylie.Wylie had some trouble breathing and a crew came from Fargo to intubate him and take him to the NICU. Cory went with Wylie while Mom and Daniel stayed behind. Wylie quickly figured out the breathing thing and Mom and Daniel joined everyone in Fargo. After a 10-day stay in the NICU everyone was able to go home and begin our life together.

In 2012 Cory was ready to start a business of his own andBowman and Sons was born and thrived with little to no advertising. Cory never lacked for business due to his eye for detail and his skilled work. He truly has a gift for what he does. He is able to tailor his work schedule to fit our lives.

Daniel and Wylie are just finishing the 10th grade.  Daniel is taking all kinds of courses, everything from welding to personal finance to building (they are actually building a house!). He is like his dad, excelling at everything he does. His passion is hunting and fishing.  Wylie is heavily involved in the Unified Program for special needs students through the school.  He is a devoted basketball fan and player. His team has gone to state the last 2 years, earning second place this year! They do many activities throughout the year. He is very physically gifted at most sports. He loves the Timberwolves and can mimic the signature moves of most of the players.  Both boys enjoy golf and bowling.  They participate on the High School team and the City league. They’ll be on a local golf course weekly when the weather is good!

Cory has done a lot of work at Garrison’s already. You may have seen him there from time to time.  He did all the fire rings and has done some cement work as well. We are all excited to begin this adventure at the resort. We look forward to meeting new people and experiencing a bit of lake life with you!
